With The holiday season approaching and the temperature dropping want to encourage fire safety. Thanks to our diverse culture people celebrate a different ways some light candles, put up decorations and even have Christmas trees, lights ornaments although Pleasant overall it can also be hazardous if not careful. Here are a few simple tips to keep your house safe from fires Remember the elements of fire heat oxygen and fuel Keep flammable away from combustible materials such as blankets, drapes, curtains, rugs, carpets, napkins furniture and pets Allow space between candles and windows Do not leave candles unattended and make sure to add water to your fresh cut Christmas tree Turn space heaters off before you leave your home or business. Make sure your CO2 and smoke detectors are active Secure your fireplace with a grate or a screen to prevent sparks
